Early Childhood Special Education

Early Childhood Special Education

We provide education and support services for young children with disabilities, from birth to age 5, in all areas of development.  We work with families to help their infants, toddlers, and preschoolers develop their social, emotional, language, learning, and physical skills, preparing them to succeed when they start kindergarten.

Getting help as early as possible is key.

We're here to help.  If you think your child may have a disability or have concerns about their learning, emotional, communication, physical or developmental needs, please contact us.

EarlyOn (birth - age 3)

EarlyOn is a free, state-wide program that helps support infants’ and toddlers’ early learning and development. We help parents and families in the community whose infants or toddlers have or are at risk for developmental delays by providing early intervention services.

We serve all of the local districts in Livingston County, with programs located in Brighton Area Schools, Hartland Consolidated Schools, and Howell Public Schools.

We also provide specialized programs for students in Livingston County with the most complex disabilities at Pathway School, located on our main campus.

SPOT Services

SPOT stands for Speech Physical and Occupational Therapy.  Our team of highly skilled Speech & Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, and Occupational Therapists deliver these services to preschool-aged children throughout Livingston County.

Our team works with students in our Head Start and Great Start Readiness Preschool programs, but they don't have to be enrolled in one of these programs to receive services.  For children who are enrolled in a private preschool program or those who aren't enrolled in preschool, we bring these services to your child.
