Career Development

Career Development

We support learners of all ages, from kindergarteners to adults. Our programs provide experiences to explore different careers by participating in summer camps, college and career workshops, job shadowing, internships, and continue their education through our adult and alternative education programs.

Livingston Career & Technical Education

We're preparing kids for careers that don't even exist yet!

More than 3,200 students in Livingston County are exploring over 40 different career paths, developing job and leadership skills, gaining hands-on work experience, and earning college credits.

Livingston Career & College Readiness

Our Livingston Career & College Readiness program connects students with the education they need for their future careers and local businesses with skilled employees.

We support our local school district administrators and counselors to plan and develop an awareness of post-high school career options.

Livingston County Early College

Our Early College program gives high school students in Livingston County an opportunity to earn college and industry credentials, degrees, licenses, and their high school diploma ― at the same time ― without college debt!

We help students align their high school courses with their college courses and career pathway, coordinate work-based learning opportunities and internships, and provide supports like career and college counseling and free tutoring.

Alternative Education

The traditional classroom is not for everyone, so we partnered with WAY (Widening Advancements for Youth) to create the WAY+ Livingston program.

Our Alternative Education program is designed for students who:

Need help to graduate on time with their class

Want to enroll in advanced classes and earn college credit in high school

Adult & Continuing Education

A high school diploma opens up a world of possibilities, including military service, college admission, workforce opportunities, and more.  So no matter how long it's been since you attended high school, it's never too late to earn your diploma or GED.

We want you to succeed!  That's why we provide you with a Learning Lab with computers for you to use, tutoring services, online classes, connections with employers, opportunities to explore career options and earn industry credentials, and more.
