Career Development

Career Development

We support learners of all ages, from kindergarteners to adults. Our programs provide experiences to explore different careers by participating in summer camps, college and career workshops, job shadowing, internships, and continue their education through our adult and alternative education programs.

Adult & Continuing Education

A high school diploma opens up a world of possibilities, including military service, college admission, workforce opportunities, and more.  So no matter how long it's been since you attended high school, it's never too late to earn your diploma or GED.

We want you to succeed!  That's why we provide you with a Learning Lab with computers for you to use, tutoring services, online classes, connections with employers, opportunities to explore career options and earn industry credentials, and more.

Alternative Education

The traditional classroom is not for everyone, so we partnered with WAY (Widening Advancements for Youth) to create the WAY+ Livingston program.

Our Alternative Education program is designed for students who:

  • Want to finish high school outside a traditional classroom
  • Need help to graduate on time with their class
  • Want to enroll in advanced classes and earn college credit in high school
Alternative Education

Career & Technical Education

We're preparing kids for careers that don't even exist yet!

More than 3,200 students in Livingston County are exploring over 40 different career paths, developing job and leadership skills, gaining hands-on work experience, and earning college credits.

Career & College Readiness

Our Livingston Career & College Readiness program connects students with the education they need for their future careers and local businesses with skilled employees.

We support our local school district administrators and counselors to plan and develop an awareness of post-high school career options.
