Did you know that entry into the Trinity Project SEARCH program is a complete application process? It includes a detailed application, a dedicated Skills Assessment Day, and an in-depth interview featuring representatives from Trinity Health, Michigan Rehabilitation Services (MRS), and LESA. Acceptance into the program hinges on successful completion of all three stages.
The photos below capture moments from the Skills Assessment portion of the day, where applicants were evaluated on department-specific tasks.
These simulations highlight skills in:
Central Sterile Reprocessing (CSR)
Supply Chain Management
Environmental Services (EVS)

The STEP team is officially in the "lab" this morning! We are deep-diving into the first 8 weeks of the 2026-2027 school year, ensuring our students have the strongest possible start.
What makes these sessions so vital isn’t just the logistics—it’s the collaboration. Seeing this team come together to balance high-level strategy with thoughtful, goal-oriented lessons is inspiring. We aren't just planning a schedule; we’re building a foundation for student achievement.

During Workshop Week, we took our Project SEARCH group on a special visit to Torch 180. This is the place where many of their incredible work journeys first began!
It’s so inspiring to revisit where the foundation was laid and to celebrate how far everyone has come. Thank you to Torch 180 for being such an important part of their story. We're proud to support their continued growth!

Ms. Lisa from Metroparks Mobile Learning Center came to visit our littlest learners. She shared the Shells, Scales and Pollywog Tails program teaching the littles about frogs, turtles, snakes and salamanders with fun songs and interactive puppets.

LESA psychologists and social workers refined their student behavior planning skills through training provided by the Behavior Initiatives Team.

As part of the Momentum Leadership Program, Charlotte Martin, Work-Study Coordinator, spent the day job-shadowing Alana Anderson, Director of Transition and Job Attainment.
Charlotte shared: "I am grateful for the chance to see leadership in action firsthand today. They say you should never stop being a student, and today I was lucky enough to learn from a leader I truly admire!"
