We were honored to host the Human Services Collaborative Body (HSCB) Annual Meeting on February 20th, where this year’s theme—Power of Partnerships: From Ideas to Action—came to life through connection, reflection, and parent voice.
When families, service providers, and policymakers unite across sectors, we move from ideas to action—and that’s where real change begins.
This meeting brought together community partners, agencies, leaders, and families to celebrate progress from the past year and strengthen collaboration moving forward. We were grateful to have in attendance Senator Lana Theis, Representative Ann Bollin, and Representative Jennifer Conlin.

We kicked things off with a warm welcome from our amazing admin assistant, Kelly (and some much-needed nourishment!). The day was filled with high-impact sessions:
Communication Ambassadors: Dennette and Pleasanna led an insightful session on communication ambassadors.
Teamwork: We dug deep into social contracts to strengthen our professional culture.
SEL: Hayley guided us through essential work around Social Emotional Learning.
Future Planning: We wrapped up with some collaborative problem-solving and a first look at the incredible applicants for the 2026-2027 Project SEARCH cohort.
It was a valuable day spent ensuring we are ready to provide the best support possible for our students!
