As the holiday season approaches, families across Livingston County look forward to time together and the traditions that make this time of year special. For some students, however, winter break also brings uncertainty, especially when the school meals they rely on are temporarily unavailable.
To help ensure that all students can enjoy the holidays with a bit more comfort, Livingston ESA and the Education Project are partnering once again with the GM Proving Grounds for the annual Snack Pack Drive. The goal is simple: to provide students with easy, nutritious snacks that help fill the gap while school is closed.
From December 1-12, the community is invited to donate nonperishable snack items. They can be dropped off at the Livingston ESA Education Center (1425 W Grand River Ave), from 8am to 4pm on weekdays.
Even small contributions can make a meaningful difference. The Snack Pack Drive is a powerful reminder of what can happen when communities come together with kindness and purpose.
Requested items include:
Pudding cups
Fruit cups or pouches
Cracker snacks
Snack size chips or pretzels
Popcorn
Granola Bars
Mini cereal boxes
Oatmeal packets
Ramen noodles
Soup
Easy Mac
Fruit snacks
Juice boxes
Bottled water
No child should step into the holidays worrying about food. With the generosity of our community, the Snack Pack Drive continues to bring reassurance and a sense of hope to students around Livingston County.
