Automotive Service, Test or Powertrain Development Technicians
In 3 years, complete up to 60 college credits, an associate’s degree from Washtenaw Community College (WCC), earn industry certifications, and a paid internship between grades 12 and 13.
Enrollment into the Automotive Technicians Program begins at Brighton High School, Hartland High School, or Pinckney High School in year 11 through county Career & Technical Education (CTE) consortium agreements. The duration of your day will be back at your home high school.
During year 12, your day will be spent in your high school and in WCC courses, either online, at the Livingston County location, or at WCC‘s main campus in Ann Arbor.
In year 13, all classes are offered through WCC either online, at Livingston County, or at WCC‘s main campus in Ann Arbor.
